Improvement in rollers for parting the back of complex self-adhesive paper, among those used for marking partings in the backing of self-adhesive sheets, characterized in that the surface of such a roller comprises projecting mouldings following a helicoidal path, mouldings which have a median triangular cutter emerging from the smooth surface of the roller. The said triangular projection is at a greater or lesser angle and directly joins the surface of the roller or has linear recesses on both sides. This produces a clean oblique parting without rough edges.
