It consists of a flexible piece 1, advantageously padded, of ribbed form, closed at one end 2 and open at the opposite end 3, the outer surface of which is of such a nature as to allow the attachment, by juxtaposition, of the ends 4 of fastening and support straps 5 and 6, which pass around the body and over the shoulder of the patient, going around rings 10 and 11 connected to the piece 1, so as to tighten them and immobilize them by juxtaposition of the ends thereof on the piece 1. The longitudinal edges of the piece 1 are fastened by means of straps 7 and 8 with the ends 9 of the same nature as the ends of the straps. The end 2 of the piece 1 can have an L-shaped extension to cover the arm. <IMAGE>
