PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic music selection device without mis-count of inter-musics and reproducing the stored music, even if the selection is skipped near the end of the music during the reproduction of automatic music selection, by reproducing in high speed after rewinding a magnetic tape for a prescribed amount in depressing a skip button during the reproduction of automatic music selection. CONSTITUTION:When the number of inter-music count is not coincident with the stored music address, a PLAY solenoid 201 and an FF solenoid 202 are operated at the same time to attain high speed reproduction, and when the stored music address is obtained, the PLAY solenoid 202 only is activated to switch the mode into the reproduction state. In depressing a skip button 406 during the reproduction, first a REW solenoid 203 is activated, the tape is rewound, and a pulse signal of a pulse circuit 402 outputting a pulse proportional to the amount of tape running is counted at an operation section 302. When a prescribed amount is rewound, the PLAY solenoid 201 and the FF solenoid 202 are activated to attain high speed reproduction, an inter-music signal 202 are activated to attain high speed reproduction, an inter-music signal of an inter-music detection circuit 104 is counted and the stored music address is sought for. |
