Method for manufacturing floor coverings from granite, characterised in that it consists: a) in using two types of materials: on the one hand small granite paving stones of different colours and of variable dimensions, with sawn or cracked faces, and on the other hand small slabs, also of variable dimensions and with sawn or cracked faces; b) in placing the said materials on a formation by using mortar batched at 200 or 300 kilos; c) in vibrating the covering thus fitted; d) in making the seals with cement (grouting) batched at 700 or 800 kilos; e) in washing the coating and covering it with sawdust in order to obtain a tiling finish. n
