According to an embodiment of the invention, the refractory composition is made up of a refractory ore of a basic type, an organic binder which is in the form of a polymerisable resin and a chemical binder made up of a phosphate complex and of a eutectic flux. According to the process for the application of a refractory lining to the inner wall of a casting distributor, a core 5 is arranged in the distributor 1, the powdered composition is introduced between the two components with the aid of injectors 6 and the whole is heated to polymerise the organic binder. The invention will find its application very particularly for lining the inner walls of a casting distributor intended to receive the molten metal from a ladle and to distribute it into ingot moulds. <IMAGE> |
