Redundant rope drive

Rope drive with a load which is suspended by at least four falls and pulled by two falls and acts at one point, characterised in that, if a rope breaks, crashing of the load is prevented by the load being taken up by the intact rope without additional forces or moments affecting the position. The equalizing and the load detecting are effected by a balancing device at the end of the rope falls.
