The dietary fibres made from a gel and, where appropriate, flavoured and sweetened are capable of replacing totally one or two meals so as to reduce in this manner the daily calory supply and to provide, at the same time, the quantity of fibres necessary for a normal functioning of the intestinal apparatus. The synthetic fibres can, in addition, be used as co-adjuvants in infant diets. |
