Process for preparing thermoplastic moulding compounds containing fluorine-containing ethylene polymers by melting a thermoplastic polymer and introducing the fluorine-containing ethylene polymer in the form of an aqueous dispersion or suspension having a solids content within the range from 2 to 60% by weight and a number average particle size within the range from 0.05 to 30 mu m into the melt of the thermoplastic polymer and removing the water being released.
