<p>The invention concerns a pen for the application of liquids, with a reservoir (2), a nozzle (3) and a spring-loaded actuating element (27) the longitudinal motion of which initiates a metering process, wets a liquid-application pin and pushes the pin out of a shaft (4). Mounted at each end of a metering chamber (9) are seals (7 and 10) whose longitudinal separation is greater than the distance between guide edges (15 and 18) associated with a lower piston (13) and an upper piston (17), the upper piston being of greater diameter than the lower. The pistons are connected rigidly to each other by conical sections (16.1 and 16.2). Mounted between retaining disc (20) and a flanged bush (11) is a compression spring (19) which brings a shaft (22) to bear against a seal (26) which seals an actuating rod (23). The actuating rod is smaller in diameter than the upper piston (17). The applicator pen is designed primarily for the application of cosmetics and pharmaceutical preparations.</p> |
