PURPOSE:To attain focus control and tracking control at a disc reproducer with the movement of an optical system including an objective lens, by driving an optical head to two directions, along the optical axis and crossing the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:In a figure, 1 is a support member made of a nonmagnetic substance and a center hole 2 through the axial direction is provided on the center axis. The focus controlling coil 3 is wound around the outer circumference by forming a ring setting a center hole 2 as a center and two tracking control coils 4A, 4B are provided in close contact with the coil 3. A drive signal for focus control is applied to the coil 3 and a drive signal for tracking control is applied to the coils 4A, 4B, then the movement being close to or apart from a disc D for an objective lens 7 and the movement of the disc D crossing the signal track are performed compositely allowing to attain the focus and tracking control at the same time. |
