Electrode wire is unwound from a coil and cleaned electrochemically in a bipolar electrolyte cavitation treatemnt, consisting of a cathode section, anode section, washing and drying section. The anode section is designed as an electrolyte plasmatron. Between the washing and drying sections, a station applies a protective lubricating coating.
