Anti-slip wrench (10) for nuts and/or head screws, in particular for wheel nuts or screws of motor vehicles. The wrench has a socket (12), which is arranged at one end of a shank (14) and is provided with a recess which positively engages over the nut or head of the screw to be tightened or loosened in the tightening or loosening direction, and at the other end of the shank an elongated lever arm (18), at the free end of which the force required for tightening or loosening can be applied. The lever arm (18) is arranged, at least in a partial section including its free end section, so as to be pivotable on the remaining part of the wrench (10) in such a way about an axis (20) running perpendicularly to the longitudinal median axis of the nut or screw that its free force-application end is pivotable at least up to the plane of the bearing surface (A) of the nut or the head of the screw on the part which is fixed or which is to be fixed, in particular the wheel disc. <IMAGE>
