<p>The invention relates to a heat exchanger with fins for a water heater, equipped with a water jacket formed from two casings, namely an inner (12) and an outer (11), and surrounding a combustion-gas circulation chamber (13), the said heat exchanger consisting of the inner casing (12) of the water jacket which extends towards the centre of the chamber, thereby forming a succession of folds substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the said chamber. The heat exchanger according to the invention is notable in that the inward projections formed by the said folds of the said inner casing each have a width much smaller than their depth, so as to form a plurality of fins in which the water can circulate freely. <IMAGE></p> |
