PURPOSE:To relax heat shock of molten metal and to prevent crack of a ceramic part by developing whisker layer at position bringing the ceramic part for inserting as the cast-in into contact with a metal for cast-in. CONSTITUTION:The whisker layer 3 is developed at outer circumference 2a and end face 2b of a ceramic-made exhaust gas port liner 2, which are the position contacting with the metal for cast-in, as buffering layer. Successively, the exhaust gas port liner 2 forming the whisker layer 3 is set into a mold as a core and the molten metal for metal for cast-in is poured, and the exhaust gas port liner 2 is inserted as the cast-in to cast a cylinder head 1. Then, as the whisker relaxes the heat shock of the molten metal, the crack in the exhaust gas port liner 2 is not developed. Further, at the time of solidifying, the whisker layer 3 absorbs the shrinkage of the cylinder head 1 and crack of the cylinder head 1 is prevented. |
