PURPOSE:To continue operation by changing over to a V connection of a rotor winding in case one among three reversible converters of a secondary side is out of order. CONSTITUTION:For example, in case a trouble comes to a reversible converter 3a of (a) phase, first of all, the reversible converter 3a stops. After that, a switching apparatus 7a is so switched that an output terminal Na of the reversible converter 3a is connected to a rotor winding 42a of an induction motor 4. Output terminals Pb and Pc of reversible converters 3b and 3c are respectively connected to rotor windings 42b and 42c without changing over switching apparatus 7b and 7c. In short, an output connection of the normal reversible converters 3b and 3c is changed from a Y connection to a V connection, and a circuit is so constituted that the separated rotor winding 42a of (a) phase by a fault is connected to a neutral point of the V connection of the reversible converters 3b and 3c. According to the constitution, an operation can be continued. |
