<p>PURPOSE:To protect an aerial wire from damage or breakdown by coupling an anchor clamp with the aerial wire through a reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing member 21 comprises a metallic rod 22 having a securing section to an anchor clamp 14 at one end and on OPGW 11 clamp 24 at the other end, where the securing section 23 can be secured to a temporal stretching wire lug board 14a of the anchor clamp 14. The clamp 24 of the reinforcing member 21 grips the OPGW 11 at a position ahead of the clamp 15a of a messenger wire type damper 15 closest to the anchor clamp 14. In other words, the clamp 15a of the messenger wire type damper 15 closest to the anchor clamp 14 is fixed to the aerial wire 11 between the clamp 24 of the reinforcing member 21 and the anchor clamp 14. Since the reinforcing member 21 is fixed, reverse phase vibration of the anchor clamp 14 and the aerial wire 11 is suppressed even upon occurrence of low frequency vibration in the aerial wire 11 and thereby bending stress is not applied repeatedly, resulting in protection of the aerial wire from damage or breakdown due to fatigue.</p> |
