<p>An ion-sensor comprises a substrate on which copper wires are printed; coated with a carbon layar (such as a carbon emulsion, paste, or conductive gum) on top of which is a redox layer (pref. obtained by electrolytic oxidation of 2,6-xylenol). Over the redox layer is an ion-selective layer. An ion-sensor is based on a substrate (1) printed with copper wires soldered (3) to a connector wire (2) and insulated by silicone resin (4). The carbon layer on (1) is covered by a redox layer (11) and then an ion-selective layer (12).</p> |
