PURPOSE:To keep off any double feed as well as to prevent a feed roller and a pressing body from being worn out by forming a paper sheet contact surface of the paper sheet pressing body into a high friction surface, and also forming the whole body with such a rotor that has the specified rotational resistance against turning effort from a paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:A pressing body (backup) 32 is constituted of a roller 33, an idle roller 34 and a rubber belt 35, while an outer circumference of the roller 33 is formed with rubber consisting of a high friction member, and it is rotatably fixed to a shaft 33a via a detent mechanism 33b consisting of a permanent magnet and a semihard magnetic substance. In addition, the idle roller 34 is formed of its outer circumference with a high friction member of rubber or the like, and it is rotatably fixed to a shaft 34a via a bearing 34b. With this constitution, frictional resistance between paper sheets and resisting force between a rotor and the paper sheet both are made proper and thereby any double feed is preventable. When the paper sheet becomes emptied, any friction between the roller and the rotor can be prevented from occurring so that their abrasion is restrainable. |
