THREE-DIMENSIONAL PICTURE PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To realize a picture producing/editing system which is excellent in terms of the human engineering by preparing a pointing device which moves and turns a 3-dimensional screen or a visual point and another pointing device which operates a pointer picture showing the processing contents. CONSTITUTION:A 1st pointing device 14R moves and turns a 3-dimensional picture 16 or a visual point; while a 2nd pointing device 14L operates a pointer picture showing the processing contents. An operator operates both devices 14R and 14L with his/her right and left hands respectively while viewing the picture 16 stereoscopically. Then the devices 14R and 14L detect the movements of both hands of the operator and secure an interlocking state between the movements of both hands and a CG (computer graphic) picture. In such a way, a picture producing/editing system is obtained with excellent performance secured in terms of the human engineering.
