<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability and at the same time to attain the easy shift of a cursor in the oblique direction by drilling plural pairs of holes at the edge parts of an insulated substrate opposite to each other to form one or more pairs of beams and adding the strain-sensitive elements to these beams for constitution of a bridge circuit. CONSTITUTION:Plural pairs of holes 6 are drilled at the edge parts of an insulated substrate 5 opposite to each other for formation of beams 12. The thick film resistances 8a-8d and 9a-9d serving as the strain-sensitive elements are added to both end parts of the beams 12 respectively. These strain-sensitive elements are connected to an electrodes 10 via wirings 11. The pressing force applied to a pressure receiving plate 2 is transmitted to the beams 12 of the substrate 5. Then the strain-sensitive elements of the beams 12 has the change of their resistances due to the strain caused by the pressing force. Therefore the change of said resistance can be taken out as the value of the direction of X and Y respectively in the pressing direction from the center 3 of the plate 2 via a bridge circuit consisting of those strain-sensitive elements. As a result, a cursor is moved in the desired direction just by pushing the plate 2 at a prescribed position.</p> |
