PURPOSE:To obtain smooth and stable low rotation having no knocking by culling a waveform from an AC single phase power source and subjecting the culled waveform to phase control then feeding the phase controlled power to an induction motor. CONSTITUTION:A turntable is required to rotate with low speed when microwave cooking operation is carried out. A microcomputor 23 provides a signal synchronous to AC single phase power supplies 14, 15 to I0 port through a zero-cross circuit 17. Power is fed with a predetermined conduction angle to a capacitor motor 3 during half wave interval of the AC single phase power supplies 14, 15 through phase control then power supply is interrupted for a predetermined period, and such operation is repeated.
