PURPOSE:To easily produce the fine white inorg. powder which has a CuI coating layer of a specific layer thickness and has an excellent electrical conductivity and white color tone by bringing the fine white inorg. powder into contact at a specific ratio with an aq. soln. contg. CuI. CONSTITUTION:An iodide such as KI and copper compd. such as copper sulfate are brought into reaction with each other in the presence of a reducing agent such as SO2 to obtain the aq. soln. contg. the formed CuI. The fine white inorg. powder of ZnO, TiO2, Al2O3, SiO2, etc., is brought into contact with this aq. soln. The contact is so adjusted that the ratio of this fine powder and the CuI attains 100:15-45 molar ratio. The coating layer substantially consisting of the CuI is thereby formed to 100-1,000A layer thickness on the surface of the fine white inorg. powder. The fine white inorg. powder having the excellent electrical conductivity and white color tone is obtd. in this way. |
