EXTRUSION-FOAMED MATERIAL OF HEAT-RESISTANT METHACRYLAMIDE COPOLYMER

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject foamed material having good printability and high heat-resistance by extrusion-foaming a specific methacrylamide copolymer in the presence of a foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective extrusion-foamed material of a heat-resistant methacrylamide copolymer can be produced by the extrusion-foaming of (A) 100 pts.wt. of a methacrylamide copolymer composed of (i) 5-60mol% (preferably 10-45mol%) of methacrylamide, (ii) 35-90mol% of styrene, (iii) 0.1-20mol% of (meth)acrylic acid and (iv) 0.1-20mol% of an acrylic acid ester having 1-5C alkyl group in the presence of (B) 2-30 pts.wt. of a foaming agent.
