PISTON TYPE FILTER AND DISPENSER VIAL

PURPOSE: To enhance cleanliness and efficiency of inspection room by closing the lower end of a hollow shaft with a filter mounting piston, closing the upper end thereof with a cover having a coupling for receiving an outer air pressure source and disposing a transfer tube on the inside and outside thereof. CONSTITUTION: A whole blood sample 23 is introduced into a test tube 22 and after the heavier components of blood are separated centrifugally, a vial 1 is pushed down into a test tube 22. A pressure source coupling 21 allows the air in the vial 1 to escape when the test tube is filled with a serum 24. The vial 1 filters the serum and the serum is collected in 27 a hollow shaft 10. The air introduced into the vial 1 substitutes for a specified part of the serum 24 which flows out through a transfer tube 17 into a case 26.
