PURPOSE:To reduce generation of offensive odor, smoke, carbon monoxide by supplying power at a highest value of supply power to an electric heater for a predetermined period of time upon starting the use of the titled device to preheat the fire dish and wick and starting ignition after lapse of a predetermined time from the preheating. CONSTITUTION:When a driving switch 21 becomes opened and charging to a capacitor 22 is started, the output of a comparator 23 becomes high for a predetermined period of time, and a transistor 24 is turned ''ON''. As a result, power is supplied to a relay 25, and a contact 25a is opened and a contact 25b is closed. Thus, an AC voltage is applied to the electric heater 12. When the fire dish is preheated for a predetermined period of time, and charging of a capacitor 22 is sufficiently carried out after the lapse of the predetermined time, the output of the comparator 23 becomes low, and the transistor 24 is turned OFF. As a result, the relay 25 is supplied with no power and the contact 25a is closed and the contact 25b is opened. Then, charging of a capacitor 28 is started, and the output of a comparator 29 becomes high for a predetermined period of time, while the contact 31a of a relay becomes closed and power is supplied to an igniter 32 to start the ignition. |
