The invention relates to a rubber mixture (compound) for vehicle tyres. According to the invention, SBR rubbers having a Tg of greater than -40@C in combination with carbon black having selected N2SA, DBP, DELTA DBP and DELTA Dst values are proposed for this purpose. These mixtures have good tan delta values at 0@C and 60@C and are advantageous with respect to fracture forces, fracture energy and wear resistance.
