PURPOSE:To collect and display the detail information of hardware under execution by providing an extended diagnostic interface on a ported OS. CONSTITUTION:When the diagnostic program 1 of the ported OS issues a diagnostic mode access declaration, a file processing managing part 2 detects it, and the managing part 2 sets a diagnostic condition flag which becomes the xtended diagnostic interface on an ABC (access control table) 3, and acquires a diagnostic result storage area 4, and duplicates the content of the ABC3 on an IORB5. A diagnostic mode analysis execution part 7 stores error detail information such as a CRC error generating address, the content of a register, the number of transfer bytes, etc., collected from the hardware in the storage area 4 while making corresponding hardware execute a processing designated by the IORB5. The managing part 2, when receiving the diagnostic result, takes out the error detail information stored in the storage area 4, and displays them on a screen. |
