PURPOSE:To enable molding the plate of artificial marble without recesses and projections on its surface and with an excellent evenness by constituting the mold with a solid lower mold having a recess part to be charged with a molding resin, and an upper mold sticked a flexible film having gas barrier property on a solid mold frame. CONSTITUTION:A solid lower mold 1 is fabricated by fixing a spacer 12 suited for the desired thickness of a product on a basement part 11, and anaerobic molding resin 3 is filled by a desired quantity into the recessed part A of the lower mold 1, and then the molding resin 3 is sealed in an almost airtight state by the upper mold 2 sticked with a gas barrier film thereupon. The molding resin 3 is heated from the side of the upper mold 2 via the gas barrier film 22. Since the mold resin 3 is efficiently heated via the thin gas barrier film 22, it starts to cure soon. As the upper mold is made of the flexible gas barrier film 22, the upper surface side to be a back surface of the molding article is freely deformed and shrinked following to the shrinkage rate of the molding resin 3, and the shrinkage deformation happens much on the upper side, further the high evenness can be ensured because the lower surface to be a front surface of the molding article is in contact with the solid even surface of the lower mold 1. |
