PURPOSE:To obtain good color formability, sufficient color density, high image quality, and high sensitivity by incorporating a specific coupler into the above material. CONSTITUTION:The coupler expressed by formula I is incorporated into at least one layer. In formula I, R1 denotes a substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, etc.; L denotes a divalent or di- or higher valent alkylene group or alkenylene group; L is bonded to an aryloxy group in the meta or para position with respect to the oxygen atom bonded to the active point. Z denotes an electron-withdrawing group; (m) and (n) denote 1-3; X and Y denote a hydrogen atom or the group which can be substd. to a benzene ring; B1 and B2 denote the group which can be substd. to a benzene ring; (p) and (q) denote 0-2. The sufficient dispersion stability to a silver halide emulsion and the color forming density are obtd. in this way and the high quality and high sensitivity are obtd. |
