PURPOSE:To obtain the title disk having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance by subjecting high-Cr cast iron having specific components to solution heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal of high-Cr cast iron constituted of, by weight, 2.0-3.0% C, 0.4-1.5% Si, 0.4-1.5% Mn, 24-29% Cr and the balance substantial Fe is cast into the shape of a disk 1 by a green sand mold. After that, the castings are subjected to softening annealing, to machining and thereafter to solution heat treatment. In the solution heat treatment, the castings are prererably held to 1150+ or -20 deg.C for 8-10hr and are subjected to rapid cooling treatment. By this method, the above disk having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance can be obtd. |
