The invention relates to a control unit for adjacent support control designed as hydraulic direct control, having a distributor block (2), control valves (4) combined to form a valve block, and connecting pieces (3) which can be connected to two connecting sides (7, 8) of the distributor block (2) and via which the hydraulic line connection between the neighbouring control units is made by means of bunched lines. According to the invention, the inner passages of the distributor block (2) and the inner passages of the connecting pieces (3) are constructed and allocated to one another at their connections in such a way that the connecting pieces (3) can be attached to the distributor block (2) in different rotary positions. The hydraulic connections for right-sided adjacent control of the support units are made in the one rotary position, and the hydraulic connections for left-sided adjacent control of the support units are made in the other rotary position. <IMAGE>
