The invention relates to an end-side connection of wooden beams onto other structural parts. It comprises a load-bearing plate which is fastened in a vertical longitudinal slot in the beam end by dowels or similar fastening elements. A protrusion of the load-bearing plate extends over the beam end surface and has a bearing surface on its underside. An anchor plate with an upwardly open vertical slot is fastened on the other structural part. The beam is inserted, by the protrusion of the carrier plate, into the slot of the anchor plate from above.
