PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition of improved dispersibility of the fiber contained to enable regulation of the water filterability to be made so as to be suitable for papermaking process by incorporating polyethylene oxide in a cement slurry containing reinforcing fibers except asbestos. CONSTITUTION:Cement such as conventional Portland cement or high-early- strength Portland cement is incorporated with inorganic aggregates such as mica and silica, organic fibers such as pulp, inorganic fibers such as glass fibers and, if necessary, an admixture such as ligninsulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensate and, furthermore, an appropriate amount of water to prepare a fiber-cement slurry. This slurry is then spiked with polyethylene oxide (the incorporation ratio being 0.01-0.20wt.% in terms of solid concentration), thus obtaining the objective fiber-cement slurry composition. |
