In an intake pipe for an internal combustion engine, especially with two banks of cylinders in a V-arrangement, with a tubular intake manifold, from which individual pipes run in a curved shape around the intake manifold to connecting flanges on cylinder heads of the internal combustion engine, the individual pipes being separated from one another by common intermediate walls, a single slot-shaped opening, which can be controlled by a single valve element situated outside the individual pipes, is provided in order to obtain differing intake lengths of the individual pipes and/or differing intake cross-sections over the number of individual pipes.
