PURPOSE:To blow the fixed quantity of fine powdered coal regardless of characteristic variety of the fine powdered coal by detecting variation of bulk density in raw material coal caused by variation of electric power for pulverizing the coal and controlling pressure in the pressurized vessel for fine powdered coal based on the detected value in the case of blowing the fine powdered coal into a blast furnace from a tuyere in the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:In the case of blowing the fine powdered coal into the furnace from the tuyere 5 in the blast furnace, the coal 13 for the raw material is charged into a pulverizing mill 11 and while drying by supplying the drying gas 14, the coal is pulverized by driving a motor 12. The obtd. fine powdered coal is collected with a bag filter 16 and charged into a buffer tank 10 and sent to a pressure vessel 4 through an intermediate vessel 19 and supplied to the tuyere 5 through a conveying tube 2. In this case, the variation of the power load to the pulverizing mill 11 caused by variation of description in the raw material coal 13 is detected with a micro-computer 21 and time lag till reaching to the pressurized vessel 4 is assumed. The pressure in the pressurized vessel 4 at the time of blowing from the tuyere 5 for the fine powdered coal varying the bulk density is controlled to the suitable pressure with a pressure controller 8, to always hold the blowing quantity of the line powdered coal from the tuyere to the fixed quantity. |
