PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting coil through a simple process by a method wherein a coil, which is formed of an optional material and shaped optionally, is coated with a superconductive substance of Bi-(Sr, Ca,)-Cu-O. CONSTITUTION:An optionally shaped coil-like base is coated with a thin film formed of a superconductive substance of bismuth, strontium, calcium, copper, and oxygen through a chemical vapor deposition method. The formed superconductive coil is controlled in composition through a heating temperature, a gas pressure, a deposition temperature, and a carrier gas flow rate of a treatment that alkoxide or beta-diketon complex as a material is subjected to. And, a heat treatment is also performed in the same reaction vessel. By these processes, a superconducting coil can be easily obtained through a simple process. |
