摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate clamping control and perform screw movement smoothly by constituting a transmitting mechanism with the ball screw shaft of a movable disc side having spiral grooves around the shaft and having a large number of balls in the spiral grooves, and the rotating member of a stationary disc side having a bearing member engaged with the screw shaft via the balls. CONSTITUTION:As a servo-motor 22 rotates, the rotating force is transmitted from the sprocket 25 of a rotating shaft 24 to the sprocket 20 of a rotating member 17 via a belt 26, and the rotating member 17 rotates. Inasmuch as a bearing member 18 also rotates through this manner, the screw shaft 15 engaged with it via balls 19 is moved in the axial direction. The movement means an advance as the rotation of the servo-motor 22 is positive rotation and withdrawal as is reverse rotation. And the movement rate of the screw shaft 15 is detected by means of a rotational rate detector 23, thereby confirming a mold opening and closing conditions. This becomes smoother in its activation than a clamping device employed an ordinary electric motor as a driving source, and a mechanical speed changing means comes to be unnecessary, furthermore, the frictional resistance in the engaging part is less, so that the efficiency of the motive power can be improved.
