PURPOSE:To enable dust-free, excellent development on an electrophotographic sensitive body by dipping at least a couple of rolls of the device in a liquid developer after the development. CONSTITUTION:While the discharging of the electrophotographic sensitive body is completed, the couple of squeeze rollers 6 and 7 are lowered by an elevation means as shown by an arrow, dipped entirely in the developer, and fixed at positions shown by broken lines 6' and 7'. Then a light switch is provided on, for example, a guide plate 3 and when a next electrophotographic sensitive body is sent to be developed and passes the limit switch, the squeeze rollers are elevated by the elevation means from the positions 6' and 7' to positions 6 and 7 and fixed. Consequently, toner is prevented from caking on the squeeze rollers 6 and 7 owing to the vaporization of a developer. |
