In order to provide a stackable bottle crate made of plastic with an open insert opening for bottles, the bottle crate having stacking elements at the top and bottom and being provided with fasteners for the compartmentalised fastening of bottles, which bottle crate can achieve a stacking result which is at least equally good with considerable saving of material, it is proposed that the stacking elements consist of columns (1) which are connected cross-wise by intermediate walls (2), on both sides of which at least one row of bottle fasteners is arranged. <IMAGE>
