PURPOSE:To improve a non-printing characteristic, an abrasion resistance characteristic and a fatigue resistance characteristic by sequentially connecting a steel back gold layer, a copper base alloy bearing layer, a silver or silver alloy plating layer and a lead base alloy surface layer to have a multilayer structure. CONSTITUTION:A multilayer sliding material consists of a steel back gold layer 1, a copper base alloy bearing layer 2 connected to the steel back gold layer, a sliver or silver alloy plating layer 3 connected to said bearing layer and a lead base alloy surface layer 4 connected to this plating layer and the silver or sliver alloy plating layer has a thickness of 3 to 30mu. In such a way, the silver plating layer 3 is provided on the copper base bearing alloy 2, thereby, even when the silver plating layer is worn, a base copper alloy plays a role of a bearing alloy. |
