<p>PURPOSE: To uniformize attenuation due to an optical distance by providing a color-separating and recoupling means capable of eliminating the need for an orthogonal beam splitter, without transmitting respective color sections of visible spectrum through four dichroic beam splitters. CONSTITUTION: A white beam W is sent to a beam splitter 4, while sections G and B in green and blue are reflected by a beam splitter 3. Further, a red section R is transmitted through the beam splitter 3 and reflected on a reflection mirror 5, and a red image beam RI is formed by a light bulb 6. The section G is reflected by the beam splitter 4 to form a green image beam GI through a light bulb 7, and the section B is transmitted through the beam splitter 4 to form a blue image beam BI with a light bulb 8. Then, the beams RI and GI are recoupled by a beam splitter 9, the beam BI is reflected on a reflection mirror 10 and recoupled with RI and GI by a beam splitter 11, all the beams RI, GI and BI are recoupled, and a white image beam WI is formed. Thus, attenuation due to the optical distance can be uniformized.</p> |
