PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of selling operation and to shorten the wait time of a customer by starting automatic dialing to a card center immediately when selling operation by a cash card is started. CONSTITUTION:A sale key 5 is operated so as to start the selling operation by the cash card and then the automatic dialing to the card center 3 is started immediately to form a channel loop between this data terminal device and card center 3, thereby holding the channel loop. Then card information read by a card reader 1 and sent data including the input amount of money sold are sent to the card center 3 through the held channel loop in response to the selling operation end detection by a selling operation end detecting means 7 which detects the end of the selling operation including the insertion of the card into the card reader 1. Consequently, the operation efficiency of the selling operation is improved and the wait time of the customer can be shortened. |
