摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To classify surge without using a voltage divider, an amplifier and a comparator by detecting the voltage of the surge superposed on a circuit to be inspected by a voltage detection circuit consisting of a surge absorbing element, a current limiting resistor and a voltage detecting resistor. CONSTITUTION:A voltage detection circuit 6(61-65) is constituted by connecting a surge absorbing element Z(Z1-Z5) such as an arrester, a current limiting resistor (r)(r1-r5) for preventing that said element Z continues discharge and a voltage detecting resistor R(R1-R5) receiving the supply of a current by surge through said resistor (r). The elements connected over a necessary number of classifying levels, for example, five levels in parallel and respectively different in operation voltage are provided to a circuit 1 to be inspected and the output voltage of the circuit of a power supply circuit on which surge is superposed is respectively applied to said elements. By this method, the voltage generated between both terminals of the resistor R of the circuit 6 is introduced into a processing circuit 5 and, at each time when surge is inputted, a counter 10 performs counting to calculate the cumulated number of times of surge generation. Therefore, the magnitude of surge is detected using the element Z and the usual resistors (r), R to make it possible classify surge.</p>
