<p>Hyaluronic acid is isolated from a hyaluronic acid-contg. soln. for refining the hyaluronic acid. Macroreticular type anion exchange resin is used. Pref. the resin comprises divinyl benzene-contg. styrene type anion exchange resin. Diaion HPA-25, HPA-75 produced by Mitsubishi Chemical Industries Ltd. is an example. The amt. of the resin is pref. 0.7-1 (v/v) for a hyaluronic acid (2-10g/l) contg. soln. 1 (v/v).</p>
