PURPOSE:To enhance photosensitivity by adding polyvinyl acetal to a resin except polyvinyl acetal as a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body is obtained by laminating on a conductive substrate 1 as a lower layer a carrier generating layer (CGL) 2 containing 100pts.wt. of a carrier generating material (CGM) and the binder resin composed of, preferably, 10-500, especially, 20-300pts.wt. of the resin other than the polyvinyl acetal, and preferably, 0.1-250, especially, 0.2-150pts.wt. of the polyvinyl acetal and as an upper layer a carrier transfer layer (CTL) 3 containing, preferably, 0-300pts.wt. of a carrier transfer material (CTM) and the binder resin composed of 100pts.wt. (independent of said 100pts.wt. of the CGM) of the resin other than the polyvinyl acetal and, preferably, 0.02-50, much preferably, 0.1-40, especially, 0.2-30pts.wt. of the polyvinyl acetal, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be enhanced in photosensitivity. |
