摘要 |
PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a lubricant control assembly for preventing lubricant oil leakage by forceful contact around a piston rod by arranging a disc member around a lubricant control member for urging the control member to the piston rod. CONSTITUTION: A thermal engine 10 comprises a working mechanism 14 for converting the reciprocating movement of a piston 26 caused by working fluid flowing from and into a cylinder 46 into the rotary movement of a drive shaft 22. A lubricant control assembly 52 is arranged around a piston rod 28 for preventing lubricant oil from intruding into the cylinder 46 through a hole 48 from a crankcase 50 or escaping in the opposite direction. In this case, the lubricant control assembly 52 comprises a cannular sleeve scraper 56 with a flange 98 provided at one end, which is urged to the piston rod 28 by a disc member 58. The inner surface 102 of the scraper 56 forms a tapered surface inclined to depart from a lubricant control member 104 of the scraper 56.
