PURPOSE:To stabilize the generation of the negative pressure in a simple constitution and to improve the head touch performance by forming at least two types of recessing parts around the head set on the sucking surface of a stabilizing plate which sucks a disk by the negative pressure. CONSTITUTION:The circular double recessing parts 1c are formed by a hand filature at the inside and the outside of the peripheral part of a magnetic head 2 set on a sucking surface 1a of a stabilizing plate 1 except a part of the outer and inner circumferential sides respectively. When a disk is revolved at a high speed with the drive of a spindle motor, the air pressure becomes negative between the disk and the parts 1c on the surface 1a owing to the change of an air current. Thus the disk is sucked by the plate 1 and then touches the head 2 protruded over the plate 1 with the fixed contact pressure. Then the variance of the negative pressure is reduced regardless of the accuracy error of the flatness of the surface 1a, the winding of the disk caused at revolving, etc., owing to the parts 1c formed on the surface 1a. |
