<p>PURPOSE:To set the degree of sags efficiently with high accuracy by separately installing gyros capable of measuring angles with high precision to an insulator string and an electric wire in a steel tower, measuring the angles, inputting the result of the measurement to a computing element and arithmetically operating continuously the degree of sag with change in time. CONSTITUTION:The actual catenary angle theta1 of an electric wire is measured by a gyro 10a, and the angle theta2 of an insulator string 2 is measured by another gyro 10b. When these results of measurement are input to a computing element and arithmetically operated, a true catenary angle theta corrected can be determined easily. When separately input span length and the difference of elevation and temperature conditions and other necessary data as required are added and these results of measurement are arithmetically operated, the degree of sags can be acquired easily. Accordingly, the obtained values are displayed on an indicator 12 for the computing element, and an operator accurately sets the degree of sags while directly reading the results and can conduct wire stretching work.</p> |
