<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and size by connecting a rotor to a stator sleeve to integrally rotate them, and engaging a slide ring with a locking member slidable in a lock piece actuating member. CONSTITUTION: This device comprises a stator sleeve 2 rotatable in a case 3 and a rotor 1. The sleeve 2 is rotated by lock pins 8, 9 for rotating the rotor 1, and the protruding part 14 opposite to the claw 13 of the lever 12 of an indexing member 11 is fitted to the slot 17 of the rotor 1 to lock it. A slide ring 20 is rotated with the rotor 1, and when the rotor 1 is rotated relative to the sleeve 2, the slide ring 20 is moved to the right, an actuating projection 25 on the circumference of the slide ring 20 is situated on the outside of the recessed part 26 within the fitting hole of the actuating lever 27 in the locked state. When a correct key 7 is inserted to rotate the rotor 1 by a prescribed angle, the slide ring 20 is actuated, and the actuating projection 25 is fitted to the recessed part 26 of the lock piece actuating member 27, and the stator sleeve 2 is made free relative to the case 3 and rotated with the rotor 1.</p> |
