PURPOSE:To improve the light resistance, the thermal durability and the absorption characteristic of a coloring dye by incorporating a specified cyan coupler in the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The coupler is shown by formula I. In the formula, R1 is an aliphatic or an aromatic group, etc., R2 is a group or an atom capable of substituting to a pyridine ring, X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released a coupling, Y is a divalent linking group contg. one or more of amide bindings and/or ester bindings, Z is dissociation group as hydroxide group, (n) is 0-2. One or more of the groups R1, R2 and X may contain an oligomer or a polymer contg. pyridyl group, one or more of the group R1, R2, X and Z may bind to a ballast group.
